Mai Po Wetland Area

After receiving some comments, seems that we had got a problem! This post is to identify where is "Mai Po Wetland" and its area.

•  Located in northwestern part of Hong Kong

          - Includes Mai Po and Deep Bay

 

 

-The area pink in color are all "Mai Po Wetland" area.

 

Total area about 1,500 hectares , 380 hectares of "Mai Po Nature Reserve" managed by the World Wild Fund of Natur (WWF), assisted by the Agriculture and Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD).

You need to apply a permit to get into the "Mai Po Nature Reserve". Not much people know except the nature reserve, still have many place around Mai Po can enjoy birds watching, or cycling.

At the previous post, we had introduce how to go to "Pink" and "Red" star. We will introduce how to visit "Orange", "Blue", "Purple", and "Green" star locations.
